Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist (Generalist) to support our client’s team in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is a full-time, 13 weeks contract to hire position.
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Medical Lab Scientist (Generalist) to support our client, in their busy, high-volume core laboratory in Deerfield Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be an experienced MLS with a valid Florida license, capable of working independently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This role is on-site with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform clinical laboratory testing as a generalist in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation
· Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments
· Ensure testing accuracy with strict adherence to quality control standards
· Review, validate, and document laboratory results
· Follow CLIA, safety, and compliance requirements
· Collaborate with laboratory leadership and team members in a fast-paced core lab
Skills & Qualifications:
· Florida Medical Technologist / MLS license (Required)
· Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related science meeting CLIA requirements
· Previous experience working as a Generalist in a clinical laboratory
· Experience with LIS systems (Epic and Sunquest )
· Ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume lab environment

Additional Information:
· Location: Deerfield Beach, FL
· Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)
· Pay Range: $35 - $39 hourly
· Shifts: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift – 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
