Our client are a leading M&E consultancy who cover all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering. This is an excellent opportunity to manage to a team of design engineers and act as business representative with key clients across the commercial & residential sectors while also developing on their industrial projects.Why apply with Sonas ?Experts in M&E RecruitmentOne point of contact – We can manage all your applications, interviews and negotiationsWe will get your CV seen by the right hiring managersKey Responsibilities Providing engineering designs to ensure the optimum delivery of Clients’ projectsColate all design documents and drawingsAttend technical meetings with members of the design teamAttend project Handover MeetingsEvaluate value engineering or cost saving opportunitiesPreparation of co-ordinated drawings covering all aspects of the installation including mechanical, electrical sprinkler, structural and architectural elementsReview and understand project design specifications and drawings and access compliance of co-ordinated drawings and technical submittals.Assist in the production of weekly progress reportsUsing your experience in the design of HVAC, Water Services, Heating and Chilled Water Systems, Gas Systems and BMSInvolvement in all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception and design through to testing, commissioning and handoverMentoring of junior and intermediate level Engineers and TechniciansKey Requirements 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical EngineeringSignificant Project engineering experience of 4 years+Commercial AwarenessExperience developing technical submittals, completing technical reviews and assessments.The ability to multi-task and manage many prioritiesExcellent communicator/strong interpersonal skills/communicates with impactExcellent record keeper and administration skillsLeads and influences othersPlans and effectively manages projects.Mentor and Coach to junior engineers and graduate
