JOB SUMMARY:
This employee performs a variety of Service and Repairs on aircraft equipment. Primarily the employee tests, troubleshoots and repairs equipment that is sent in for service. This includes diagnosis, replacing parts (soldering), estimate creation, repair documentation, and various other processes and interactions with shop personnel.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
· Analyze and apply information from a variety of sources, including Theory of operation, block diagrams, schematics, test procedures, parts lists, and FAA regulations.

· Use electronics tools (pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, soldering irons, etc.) to repair and return repaired equipment.
· Use electronic equipment (oscilloscope, volt ohm meters, frequency counters, etc.) to troubleshoot, analyze electronic circuits and correct problems
· Disassemble, repair and assemble Electronics Products.
· Establish cost estimates that may include purchased components, manufactured parts and assemblies and labor time requirements.
· Meet or exceed typical expectations for creativity, productivity, quality of work, and safety.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Have a good work record of self-motivation, judgment, and productivity.
· Previous experience doing mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, electronic service work, equivalent formal education beyond high school, or equivalent military training or experience.
· Have appropriate experience testing, and troubleshooting mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, electronic equipment.
· Have effective communication skills, and work well with others.
· Be willing to work overtime or extra hours as needed.
Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screeening.
