Job Overview:
We are seeking Production Operations Associates to support remanufacturing and production operations for locomotive traction motor components. This role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, warehouse, or industrial production experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform disassembly, assembly, cleaning, inspection, and rework of locomotive traction motor components
• Operate manual and automated production equipment, hydraulic tools, and pneumatic tools
• Inspect components using precision measuring tools and testing equipment to ensure quality standards are met
• Disassemble machinery, replace or repair defective parts, and reassemble equipment after repairs
• Complete process documentation and maintain accurate production records
• Support manufacturing operations while following all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes in compliance with OSHA guidelines
• Assist with training team members on production procedures and work instructions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and Kaizen activities
• Maintain acceptable defect rates and production quality standards
• Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and management to meet production goals
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or management

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to safely use hand tools, production equipment, and measuring devices
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
• Associate Degree or Technical School Certification
• Experience with analytical testing or quality inspection
• Prior forklift and overhead crane experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality procedures and lean manufacturing concepts
• Understanding of EHS procedures and workplace safety practices
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
