Job Summary
The Material Planner is responsible for the day-to-day management of customer orders and material planning support for production. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and production to ensure orders are produced, shipped, and billed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily communication with customers via phone and email.

Attend daily production meetings and participate in conference calls with IFS management, customers, and material suppliers.

Identify material supply constraints and communicate issues to site operations and production management.

Provide material planning support by running and reviewing material shortage reports for each work order.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships by promptly addressing questions and resolving complaints.

Maintain effective communication with material suppliers regarding availability, lead times, and delays.

Prioritize workload to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and within requested timeframes.

Plan, coordinate, and execute all components of customer orders to support production requirements.

Review customer forecasts and order backlogs to support production capacity planning.

Communicate relevant information to management in a timely manner; resolve or escalate issues as needed.

Comply with all site policies and OSHA safety regulations in office and production areas.

Set a positive example by adhering to site dress code requirements, including the use of required PPE.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on customer service experience.

Strong ability to multitask and work across multiple systems simultaneously.

Demonstrated organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

Ability to adapt to change and handle additional responsibilities as needed.

Proven ability to work across departments to resolve internal and customer issues.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; bilingual skills are a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Monday thru Friday 07:30am to 04:00pm
English , Spanish is a plus.
Pay rate: $18.00
