Marketing Program Manager, Genomics and Cell Analysis Program, South Asia Pacific, and India
Description Develop and execute marketing strategy in South Asia Pacific (SAP) and India by assuming overall responsibility for the implementation of marketing programs and activities in SAP and India. This includes:Providing feedback and implementing global programs, developing, and executing regional plans.Measurement and evaluation of marketing programs. Implementation of corrective actions to ensure delivery of targeted results & objectives.Work with Global MPMs, Product Marketing, and Field Sales to discuss localization, market trends, events, and training needs.Collaborate with global, regional, and functional stakeholders to execute local activities and consolidate campaigns and product launches.Have in-depth technical product and application discussions around campaigns and new product launches with sales and Field Application champions.Have technical product and application discussions with customers at major and local events.Developing, deploying, and measuring promotions to stimulate sales and drive product adoption.Managing marketing budget in conjunction with regional Marcom SpecialistWorks collaboratively with all channels including direct field sales and distributors to ensure marketing program deployment and that effectiveness meets field sales expectations.Lead all CRM related aspects of sales & marketing integration (CRM and reporting) for tracking effectiveness of your campaigns and activities.Defining training for new product introductions and to enhance region competency, leveraging expertise from Product Marketing, Applications, and other departments as required.Works with the Genomics and Cell Analysis sales channels to monitor & analyze competitive information and customer data to facilitate effective program development.Coordinates with World-wide Product management and SAP and India Sales Managers for ongoing product management over promotion and placement changes for responsible portfolio.QualificationsBachelor's degree or Masters in Genomics/molecular biology/biochemistry/biology/medical science or equivalentAt least 8 years’ experience within Genomics and/or Cell Analysis business, preferably with 2 years in sales and/or marketing.Intimate knowledge of the Genomics and/or Cell Analysis technologies within, research and clinical marketspace within South Asia Pacific and India.Excellent communication skills (written / oral) and fluency in English.Must have a proven ability to plan and execute; to think strategically and translate to tactics that can be implemented to drive customer preference and demand for Agilent’s solutions.Ability to deal with high pressure, visibility, and workload; Willingness to prioritize tasks and take quick decisions.Ability to work across a matrixed and global organization.Ability to excite and motivate direct sales teams and distributors.Demonstrated skills in teamwork, results-orientation, and strong persistence to reach goals.Ability to collaborate equally effectively throughout all hierarchical levels including KOLs.Ability to travel locally and internationally ~ 30% of the time.Agilent Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
