Position Description

Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP) is actively seeking a skilled Market Research Analyst and Project Manager to spearhead a market research initiative in Washington. In this dual-role position, you will conduct comprehensive market research, analyze data, and oversee the end-to-end project management of the research initiative. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our organization's growth and make a significant impact in the clean energy field.

Objectives

Reporting to the Executive Team, the Market Research Analyst and Project Manager will have the following key objectives:

  • Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients, understand their objectives, and provide regular updates on project progress and key findings.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the market research project, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality targets are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams and subcontractors, facilitating seamless communication and coordination for successful project outcomes.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research, gather and analyze data, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Survey Design and Analysis: Demonstrate expertise in survey design and analysis, ensuring the formulation of effective questions and accurate interpretation of research findings.
  • Analytics: Leverage data analysis to develop insights for program performance improvement, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive trade participation.
  • Data Visualization: Utilize easy-to-understand graphics and other representations to communicate research findings effectively.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of research data and findings.
  • Contract Management: Provide leadership and oversight of subcontracts, ensuring compliance and seamless delivery of the project.

Responsibilities
The Market Research Analyst and Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Design and execute market research studies, including survey development, data collection, and analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize statistical and analytical tools to interpret research findings and present insights in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations.
  • Survey Design and Analysis: Demonstrate expertise in survey design and analysis, ensuring the formulation of effective questions and accurate interpretation of research findings.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including research analysts, data scientists, and project coordinators, to ensure project goals are met.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of research data and findings.
  • Analytics: Apply data analysis techniques to derive insights for program enhancement, customer satisfaction improvement, and increased trade participation.
  • Contract Management: Provide leadership and oversight of subcontracts, ensuring compliance and seamless project delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in market research or project management are a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in market research, data analysis, and project management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and statistical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in leading end-to-end project management, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Database Development: Proficiency in database development tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Utility or Energy Efficiency Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the utility industry, commercial and industrial customers, energy management programs, and/or trade ally dynamics.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Previous experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in market research tools, data analysis software, and project management platforms.
