Position Summary

Seattle Yachts is seeking a Marine Outboard Technician to join our Anacortes service team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of outboard engines on a wide range of marine vessels. As an authorized dealer for Mercury, Honda, and Tohatsu, we frequently service all makes and models.

The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical skills, diagnostic ability, and a commitment to delivering quality service. Seattle Yachts is dedicated to investing in ongoing training and certifications to support your professional growth.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and service on outboards, including oil changes, winterizations, and seasonal start-ups.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with outboard engines and related systems, including electrical and fuel systems.
  • Replace and repair components within outboard systems as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed and parts utilized.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, service advisors, and team members to ensure efficient and timely service.
  • Follow all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marine mechanics or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
