Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $22.00+ per hour (Negotiable based on experience)Position SummaryWe’re seeking a skilled Welder to help produce custom-built, highly engineered mobile material handling machinery for the rail-related industry. This hands-on role involves fabrication, welding, hydraulic/pneumatic assembly, and electrical wiring in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Read and follow blueprints, BOMs, and assembly instructions to build parts and equipment.
  • Perform layout, cutting, fitting, and welding of components.
  • Connect hydraulic and pneumatic hosing/piping according to diagrams.
  • Assemble, rebuild, and prepare machinery for shipping.
  • Perform electrical wiring from schematics and diagrams.
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities.

Welding & Wiring Duties

  • Determine proper welding sequence, electrode type, and settings.
  • Perform fit-up, layout, and high-quality welds with attention to distortion control.
  • Change and maintain gas cylinders, wire reels, and other welding equipment.
  • Connect and route electrical wiring, panels, junction boxes, and harnesses accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5+ years of welding experience in a custom fabrication environment .
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 3D prints, and schematics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Computer literacy for reading and inputting data.
  • Effective communication and accountability for quality results.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 50 lbs unassisted, 100 lbs with assistance).
  • Exposure to manufacturing environment with temperature variations and production-related fumes.
