Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Job DescriptionJob Description
Reporting to Quality & Compliance Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible for tasks and objectives across several Quality related projects while supporting Research and Development efforts for the facility.
Additional Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Conducts and/or schedules calibration of instruments required based upon schedule.
· Testing raw material and finished goods to ensure meets Quality specifications for production in process or finished product.
· Creates SOP (standard operating procedures) and/or updates appropriate documents.
· Maintains record keeping in accordance with SOP and/or instruction
· Responsible for required data management & document control
· Independently evaluates and applies standardized scientific or engineering procedures and techniques to assignments of moderate to high complexity.
· Determining feasibility of goals and objectives across multiple projects.
· Identifies problems and related technical issues leading to long-term solutions while meeting customer needs.
· Interacts in a collaborative manner to improve organizational efficiency at department and organizational levels.
· Creates, monitors and implements effective plans; takes lead for scoping tasks/projects; assembles research team members.
· Makes significant contributions to technical proposal preparation and/or presentations.
· Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments.
· Conduct research and development activities between disciplines.
· Research and interpret IP information as necessary for new product development or enhancements.
· Analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors.
· Demonstrated sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and regulations
· Support projects within a cross-functional team environment.
· Engages with R & D on projects and/or trials and will work along side development Team
· Engage with customers to improve relationships or improve as new products
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
