POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to oversee circuit board manufacturing and assembly processes to include programming and maintenance. Working knowledge of electronic components and supply chain coordination. Candidates should possess a working knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) equipment, wave solder equipment, automated inspection equipment, microscopes, inspection gauges, a variety of test equipment, a wide variety of hand tools and some machine shop tooling.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of recent experience
• Experience programming Mydata MY9 or MY100 Pick-and-Place Machines
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems
• Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures
• Familiarity with data sheets and schematics

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Management

• Collaborate with assembly personnel to achieve efficient production with high levels of quality
• Coordinate with management to meet customer requirements

Material Resource Planning (MRP)

• Utilize MAX MRP system to create and maintain bills of materials
• Work with Engineering to document Engineering Change Orders and Bills Of Materials into MAX MRP.

Supply Chain Coordination

• Validate customer-provided BOMs for accuracy, availability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Adjust purchase volumes to accommodate SMT overage requirements
• Coordinate with receiving management to ensure timely inbound material receipts and outbound deliveries
• Address quality control issues, material delays, and component obsolescence with management

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with design teams and management during design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews
• Work with inventory control to monitor supply chain trends, component lifecycles, and potential risks
• Facilitate design reviews to identify and resolve potential material or manufacturing issues early in the process
