Manufacturing Engineer
Direct-Hire | Full-Time | Onsite | First Shift Hours
$60,000 – $80,000 base salary (depending on experience)

A leading automotive manufacturer near Bryant , IN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with several years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment who’s looking to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented company.

You’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager and play a key role in improving production processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring efficient, high-quality output.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support daily production by troubleshooting equipment or process issues
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Production
  • Assist in the design and modification of tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing layouts
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

  • 0–3+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and mechanical processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach
  • Willingness to work onsite and engage directly with production teams
