About the Role:

The Manager of Plant Operations/Maintenance at Wagoner Community Hospital (WCH) plays a crucial role in ensuring that all hospital facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally to support patient care and hospital services. The manager will lead a team of skilled technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades to hospital infrastructure. Additionally, this role involves developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of hospital equipment. Ultimately, the manager will contribute to creating a safe and comfortable environment for both patients and staff, aligning with WCH's commitment to quality healthcare delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in facilities management or maintenance operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in facilities management (e.g., IFMA, BOMA).
• Experience with budget management and cost control in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all hospital facilities and equipment.
