Position Summary

Manage a team of engineers from Maintenance & Reliability Engineering function working for our Integrity Management & Digital Solutions (IMDS) business. Responsible for people management/supervision, technical/functional management and delivery of relevant projects.
Maintenance & Reliability Engineering function executes projects with SoW involving creation/ enhancement/review of maintenance concepts, programmes, and strategies as well as CMMS system implementation/upgrades for installations within O&G (Oil & Gas) and other industries.


Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL: FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT 

  • Responsible for delivering assignments / projects with required quality and within schedule and cost constraints
  • Act as point of contact to internal and external stakeholders including customers
  • Drive QMS (Quality Management System: Process approach, Continuous Improvement etc.) implementation within team/function, improve/maintain team level QMS implementation score
  • Ensure compliance to established functional and organizational processes by team
  • Review and approve team members’ timesheet, prepare utilization reports
  • Prepare and share function level operation review reports and share with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop function/team level annual objectives in line with organizational objectives/strategies
  • Coordinate activities within own function with other relevant functions
  • Support tendering activities by working on technical/functional part of proposals
     

ESSENTIAL: PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Support line manager with Resource demand planning
  • Recruit engineers per plan
  • Induct / train engineers into their roles
  • Develop, maintain team level competency matrix, plan functional trainings 
  • Define annual performance objectives of team members in line with team level objectives
  • Review team members’ performance against individual job requirements and provide regular feedback as well as define/implement improvement plans for them as needed
  • Review and approve official expenses incurred by team members
     

NON-ESSENTIAL 

  • The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post
  • Assist with any other duties as and when required
  • Undertake specific projects as instructed by management 


Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in mechanical or allied engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant functional experience
  • 4 years of experience of leading and managing an Engineering team
