Maintenance Technician | Otsego, MI

Salary Range: $45,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Install and commission new manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and parts inventory.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for equipment reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Associate's degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific PLC programming software (e.g., Allen-Bradley Studio 5000).
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding for repairs and fabrication.
• Prior experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) like SAP PM or Maximo.
• HVAC/Refrigeration system troubleshooting and repair experience.
