FSS Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Hazleton, PA!

Position: Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $19.50/HR

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Training during 1st shift, and would eventually transition to overnight)

Benefits: Medical, Dental, and AD&D

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Maintains a safe and clean working environment. Provides optimum quality. Reviews production reports of the department and ensures objectives are ascertained. Communicates quality, material and other department issues to manager by performing the following duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures all shop machinery and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Evaluates, monitors and maintains stores and tooling so the optimum production performance is achieved.
• Maintains proper documentation of all equipment.
• Assists in changeovers and setups on the production line.
• Maintains tooling in a state of readiness for upcoming changeovers.
• Maintains integrity of Tool Room by locking doors to deter unauthorized entry.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on tooling and shop machinery.
• Identifies and promptly reports equipment malfunction, material, and safety and quality issues to supervisor.
• Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.

• Ideal candidate will have Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
