Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

• Location: Elkhart, IN
• Compensation: $25–$29/hour (potential flexibility based on experience)
• Hours: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Schedule: 40–45 hours per week | Never Sundays | Occasional Saturdays

**Anyone starting their career in maintenance and has proven experience in mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic troubleshooting is encouraged to apply.**

Position Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily facility and equipment maintenance at our Elkhart location. This is a hands-on role requiring strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability across multiple systems.

This company is a leading distributor of tires, wheels, and related accessories. They mainly serving OEM manufacturers in the trailer industry (cargo, utility, boat, horse, and livestock trailers).

• Operations: Importing, assembling, and distributing products across North America
• Services: OEM tire/wheel assemblies, repair and maintenance
• Facility: Modern, clean, and well-organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Handle general facility maintenance and building repairs as needed.
• Support preventive maintenance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with production and leadership teams to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
• General facility/building maintenance skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a team.
