
Maintenance Technician Electronic
Description The ROSEN Group is recruiting a Maintenance Technician Electronic to join its Operations team in Melbourne. We will train you in all aspects of the job, but some electronics and mechanical work experience is a great benefit to the work we do. In this role you will be exposed to both the workshop activities and the field work, which can take you to all corners of Australia and further. Once trained, you will be responsible for the assemble, repairs and testing of the equipment used for various kinds of pipeline inspection services. When you work away, you will be paid a travel allowance. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing and assembling the electronic equipment in accordance to drawings, parts lists, manuals and configurations provided by Tool Customizer Visual checking of all electronic modules Setting tool parameters Repairing equipment according to given instructions Checking all equipment for completeness and correct function, in order to ensure that the equipment fulfill the job requirements as specified Documenting assembled equipment in ROSEN software databases, and reporting documentation problems Providing the required test reports and other documentation Supporting site personnel in electronic matters Carrying out all activities in accordance with the ROSEN Quality & HSE guidelines and instructions Requirements High School Diploma is required, post-secondary education is an asset. Education/work experience with emphasis in electronics 5 years of experience in the maintenance of industrial facilities/plants 5 years of experience in electrical control systems/technology For Internal ROSEN applicants: 18 months as Maintenance Technician Electronic Good skills in using a variety of hand/ power tools Good skills in assembling equipment Good understanding of electronical and mechanical drawings
