COMMERCIAL BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / ENGINEER

Job Type:

- Full Time M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, plus on-call rotation

Job location:

- Raleigh/Durham/RTP area

Job goal:

Maintain the interior and exterior of commercial office buildings to the owner's and tenants' satisfaction

Job duties:

Perform manual and mechanical tasks required to fix/repair issues with building lighting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interior and exterior finishes, life safety equipment, and grounds upkeep. Conducting regular maintenance tasks associated with PM schedules. Meet and schedule vendors for repair and repair quotes. Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.

Job requirements/qualifications:

- Clean NC driving record (no exceptions), drug screening, and criminal background check

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs, sit, stand, and kneel

- Must be proficient with hand tools

- Must be able to climb ladders

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems

- Must be able to work on-call after-hours rotation

- Must have good communication skills and attitude

- Must be able to work in extreme warm and cold temperatures at times of need

- Must wear company uniform and adhere to dress standards

- Must live within one hour of the Raleigh/Durham area

- Must adhere to safety standards
