What’s in it for you?
- Base Salary: $26.00 - $30.00 hourly, depending on qualifications, education, and prior experience + ability to participate in after hour on-call schedule
- Sign-On Bonus: Sign-on bonus of $1,000 paid out after you have successfully completed 90 days of employment. *Sign-on bonus is subject to all applicable tax reporting and withholding requirements*
- Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday; 8am - 5pm + ability to participate in after hour on-call rotation schedule
- On-Call Rotation Schedule: Participation in after hours on-call rotation schedule is required; overtime pay is provided for on-call hours worked

Job Description Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Waterford Apartments, a 200-unit conventional apartment community in Everett, WA. This position involves performing technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspect of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned work orders by diagnosing the source of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements
- Follow procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance department by tracking inventory used, returning unused items to the established location, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs
- Perform general park and facilities maintenance under minimum supervision in a manner that meets optimum quality and efficient production
- Promote positive, proactive relations by demonstrating fair, and consistent treatment during all interactions
- Assist with the inspection of the property and all common areas each morning to detect maintenance problems that require attention
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule
- Contribute to the achievement of occupancy goals and promote a quality living experience for by effectively performing maintenance tasks
- Serve as a resource for management and assistant in the development and communication of more efficient methods of maintaining the apartment community
- Participate in after-hour and emergency coverage rotation schedule
- Must possess knowledge and skills in the safe use and maintenance of power tools and mechanical equipment
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1+ years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician at multi-family apartment community of 100+ units
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with and collaborate effectively with team members
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to respond to after hour emergencies as needed and participate in on-call rotation
- Experience and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Superior customer service, attention to detail, and time management skill
- Dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a faced paced team-oriented environment
- A positive attitude and a team player
- Must have valid driver's license
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Possession of a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is but not required
