Job DescriptionYour tasks:Writing, modifying and scheduling batch jobsJoblog analysis, troubleshootingCoordination of updates (releases) with the relevant departmentsPreparation, installation and testing of new updates (releases)Dataset handlingParticipation in operational testing2nd/3rd level technical support for related applicationsTicket administration and documentation management based on ITILComplex problem solving: root cause analysisProcess enforcementIncident/Problem/Change/Configuration managementActive participation in daily/weekly customer meetingsRunning mission-critical mainframe applications (automotive, banking processes, etc.)Knowledge of IBM industry leading technologies (Mainframe, DB2, WAS and more...)Development of new standard processes, methodologies and solutionsAutomation of operational workflowsRegular contact with German and other international customers and colleaguesQualificationsYour skills:Strong z/OS system and subsystem knowledge TSO, ISPF, JCL knowledge, Batch/Scheduling knowledgeStrong Database knowledge (DB2)Programming knowledge in REXX or CLISTProduct knowledge scheduling (AJM, IWS, Control/M)Willingness to work independently, reliability, flexibilityBasic knowledge in project managementTeam-minded/collaborativeBusiness language skills in English and German (level C1)
