LPS & Safety Advisor

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Loss Prevention System (LPS) and Safe Working Standards Advisor for their site in Fawley.

This is a one-year contract position, inside IR35 with a salary in the region of £53K

You will:

· Be responsible for supporting all aspects LPS site implementation and effectiveness, (across EM and Contractor Teams) in Routine and Turnaround activities.

· Lead Contractor Safe Working Standards assessments. Focus is on safety, health and the environment, offering professional guidance and support to employees and contractors, while developing new practices to further enhance site personnel safety performance.

Responsibilities :

· Involve a strong field coaching presence during routine work execution, together with working on events / turnarounds.

· Lead LPS and other safety related training programmes. There is an expectation for progression through exposure to all aspects of field-based Health & Safety Advisor roles.

· will be reporting to the site’s LPS Lead Advisor

· Promote and uphold the highest of professional safety standards at all times

· LPS advisor – Supporting organisation in effective use of LPS, by delivering training, coaching, advice and communications.

· SWS advisor - Ensuring Regulatory effectiveness is sustained through regular internal and external assessments.

· Acting as a member of the field safety team during turnarounds and event

You should:

· Have experience in an Oil & Gas environment

· Have knowledge of security processes and procedures

· Be college or University educated in a safety related subject
