We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Operations Assistant to join our Legal Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating in-house e-billing, maintaining document databases, and providing comprehensive support to our legal team.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate In-House Legal E-Billing:

• Review invoices, address billing issues, and generate reports and check requests.

Compose Correspondence:

• Draft correspondence to law firms and vendors.

Document Management:

• Organize and maintain documents and data using corporate legal software (HighQ).

Report Generation:

• Compose reports and summaries based on assigned research projects.

Task and Project Follow-through:

• Ensure successful completion of assigned tasks and projects.

Discretion and Confidentiality:

• Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Research Support:

• Conduct research for special projects as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate’s degree in Business or a related field.

Experience:

• Two to three years of related experience in a legal environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior in-house legal billing experience is a plus.
