Landscape Project Manager

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly estimating meetings to schedule and prioritize bid opportunities
  • Anticipate client needs and manage expectations to ensure satisfaction
  • Participate in internal training and development with Project Manager guidance
  • Source pricing from new and existing suppliers for proposals
  • Assist the production team in purchasing materials for awarded projects
  • Attend project scope meetings alongside the Sales Team
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events when needed
  • Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to contractors for clarification on bids
  • Attend municipal bid openings and deliver bid proposals as necessary
  • Attend and participate in Bid/Build business development and monthly sales meetings
  • Support marketing and public relations efforts (print materials, ads, website content, award entries, trade shows, events, etc.)
  • Follow established protocols related to client communication, bidding, collections, and follow-ups
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule (40–65 hours per week), depending on season and workload
  • Provide support to fellow Account Managers and clients outside of assigned portfolio as needed


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscaping
  • At least 2 years of experience in landscape design and sales
  • 2+ years of experience in field construction procedures or equivalent
  • Degree in horticulture, landscape design, landscape architecture, or minimum 2 years of landscape estimating experience
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans, including architectural, civil, and landscape drawings
  • Knowledge of civil surveying and basic civil engineering
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including:
  • Microsoft Word & Excel
  • CAD (document reading)
  • Estimating software
  • Written and verbal communication tools
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Digital design skills a plus
  • Enthusiastic learner and collaborative team player
