Come join VMH Laboratory as a Laboratory Assistant! We focus on delivering excellent healthcare and quality service. Our work environment is supportive and professional, encouraging collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving across the system. As part of our team, you will perform tasks such as drawing blood, performing basic lab tests, answering the phone and helping with other various administrative duties.
Hours for this Laboratory Assistant are 3-4 days per week, 0.60 FTE, approximately 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period. Shifts are primarily 9:00 am – 5:00 pm or 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm with a weekend and holiday rotation and fill-in opportunities. Shifts on the weekend start at either 5:30 am or 1:30 pm.
Previous relevant experience with drawing blood , but we are willing to train the right candidate. Certification as a Medical Assistant or in Phlebotomy would be beneficial but not required.
