Role Description
The Junior Estimator will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, reviewing project plans, and working closely with the senior estimating team to ensure accuracy. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed records, preparing bids, and communicating with clients and vendors. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodbridge, VA.
Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in project cost estimation and budgeting processes
- Familiarity with system design, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Willingness to learn and adapt, with attention to detail and accuracy in work
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is
- Previous experience in the HVAC industry or engineering field is an advantage
