International Project Engineer (english version)

Your day as a International Project Engineer? That depends on where you wake up. In France, America or anywhere near Tilburg. As a International Project Engineer you are ultimately responsible for the planning, implementation, testing, commissioning and evaluation of our projects. After we have acquired a project, we start mounting and assembling the machine in our 5000 m2 production hall (wow!). You prepare the project planning, budget and quality requirements and ensure adherence. Do you have the right people in your team? Is everything still on schedule? If you run into something, you consult with the project manager or your colleagues from engineering. You can see them from the production hall. About five times a year you can be found on site for a period of 2 to 4 weeks. While there you coordinate the construction of the line, together with local engineers. As you are also actively involved with the installation as a cooperating foreman, you know exactly when the machine is really ready for delivery: when everything works 100% after several tests and the customer is satisfied. Work completed? You quickly take a final ride in that American pick-up that you have been driving for three weeks and then fly home again. How you get things moving You have a MBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics; You have 2 years work experience as a Project Technician (team lead); You are prepared to spend 30% of your time abroad, on site with our customer; You have a helicopter view, are quality conscious and have good communication skills; Fluent in English and/or Dutch. We offer A completely new supermarket experience. Huh, what?! Really. Once you start working at Lan Handling, shopping will never be the same again. From that day on, you will turn over all the pouches, cans and jars you see. You’ll find yourself always checking: yes! we also handle this product with our machines! But that’s not all of course: A working environment full of opportunities to develop further. Good idea? Any training wishes? Discuss it with your supervisor and get started. Be part of the entrepreneurial team of Lan Handling North America. Is your input our new success story? Flexible working hours, so you can make time for sports, hobbies or just to take your children calmly to school in the morning. No day will be the same with working locations in the Jacksonville office, at home or onsite at any of our dozens of customers in the Americas. Good travel allowances included! We celebrate our successes, so you can benefit from our annual profit-sharing program in case of good (company) performance. Work on cutting-edge technology at world-class global food and beverage customers. Feel part of the Lan-team with company provided working clothes and PPEs.
