Installer/Helper

Position Summary:

The Installer Helper will assist in the installation of various metal fabrication projects including railings, fences, stairs, gates, and trash enclosures. This position involves supporting lead installers, loading/unloading materials, preparing job sites, and performing basic finishing and painting work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of railings, stairs, fences, gates, and enclosures.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
• Measure, mark, prepare, cutting metal under supervision.
• Perform grinding, sanding, and light painting or touch-ups as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean job site.
• Support fabrication or assembly work in the shop when needed.
• Communicate effectively with lead installers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, welding, or metal fabrication (will train the right person).
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
