Installer/Helper
Position Summary:
The Installer Helper will assist in the installation of various metal fabrication projects including railings, fences, stairs, gates, and trash enclosures. This position involves supporting lead installers, loading/unloading materials, preparing job sites, and performing basic finishing and painting work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of railings, stairs, fences, gates, and enclosures.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
- Measure, mark, prepare, cutting metal under supervision.
- Perform grinding, sanding, and light painting or touch-ups as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean job site.
- Support fabrication or assembly work in the shop when needed.
- Communicate effectively with lead installers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction, welding, or metal fabrication (will train the right person).
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
