Your Mission: As the Installation Manager you will manage and coordinate the budgeting, scheduling, bidding, requirements for installation of new furniture, and reconfigurations projects. Responsibilities include determining the scope of work, coordinating and scheduling the appropriate resources, working with client and alliance partners to determine project needs from internal & external vendors while maintaining excellent communication with all parties. Lead and manage assigned projects performance (Cost, Quality, Safety, Delivery and Sales). Responsible for all profit & loss with assigned projects as well as closure of projects and additional change orders.
This position is expected to work varied work hours, 40+ hours per week, but hours can vary depending on work load demands.

- Maintain an effective organizational structure by delegating authority, assigning responsibilities and holding members accountable.
- Supports company initiatives through active participation and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Charged with maximizing gross sales and GPM of furniture division.
- Represents company in project meetings and attends strategy meetings when requested
- Initiates and maintains liaison relationships with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
- Prepares cost estimates, correspondence, contracts and purchase requisitions, and hour and expense budgets for assigned projects for customers.
- Prepares project requirements, schedule and work plans for each project. Reviews with supervisor to ensure they are prepared to manage the project.
- Coordinates overall direction of installation work across multiple projects and facilities.
- Partners with Scheduler to ensure appropriate volume and quality of manpower is available for projects
- Monitors and controls projects through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Resolves and approves all changes in project scope, schedule, budget and process.
- Reviews completed projects with supervisor to identify potential areas for improvement and to recognize exemplary performance.
- Completes final “punch list” with customer for each project and resolves outstanding issues to customer’s satisfaction.
- Supports operating company / division in reaching company safety goals
- Provide direction and leadership for the project’s success by utilizing lean methodologies, inspections and standard work procedures to ensure the most cost effective solution.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills by conveying information accurately, and listens effectively to direct reports to resolve problems

- Strong knowledge of furniture and facility management
Qualifications – Education & Experience
- Degree in Construction, Engineering, or Project Management
- 3 to 5 years experience in project management / furniture installation work
- Ability to work with customer/vendor teams to implement multi-phased projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- previous Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma experience
