Job Summary
Provides technical solutions to meet the department’s strategic plan by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and client needs on small projects.
Essential Functions
Consults and collaborates with clients to identify needs and propose IT solutions; assists in developing requirements.
Recommends solutions for projects with limited scope and risk, evaluating alternatives and risks.
Translates solutions into system designs and communicates effectively.
Analyzes and reviews the impact of small projects, ensuring integration with existing systems.
Supports resource identification and project planning for small projects.
Develops and monitors project plans for quality and cost-effectiveness.
Participates in establishing standards and procedures for system operations.
Serves as liaison between IT and client organizations.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of systems requirements, process flows, storyboarding, and use case development.
Understanding of testing methodologies and documentation.
Knowledge of current information systems technologies and trends.
Project management skills.
Ability to analyze needs and propose solutions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Two years of experience in requirements gathering, documentation, project management, SharePoint, metrics development, or related areas.
Equivalencies
High school diploma plus six years of experience.
Associate degree plus four years of experience.
Bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience.
Master’s degree plus one year of experience.
Other Requirements
No felony or Class A misdemeanor convictions.
No recent Class B misdemeanor convictions.
No family violence convictions.
Cannot be on deferred adjudication for serious offenses.
Salary Range
$66,743.57 - $83,429.46, starting salary based on qualifications.
