Information Governance Lead\nLocation: London/Hybrid\nDaily Rate: From £550\nContract Length: 6 months\nWorking Pattern: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm\n\nAre you ready to make a significant impact in the financial services industry? Our client, a leading financial institution with a strong global presence, is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Information Governance Lead to join their dynamic EMEA Data Management Group. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the information governance landscape within a respected organisation!\n\nPurpose of the Role:\nAs the Information Governance Lead, you will be at the forefront of data governance initiatives, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and drive best practises.

Your expertise in data privacy, records management, and data classification will be crucial in supporting the bank's strategic goals and enhancing its governance framework.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAdvise & Guide: Provide expert advice on IG management inquiries, ensuring clarity and compliance across the organisation.\nRisk Assessment: Review and guide the completion of Privacy Risk Assessments, implementing effective mitigating measures.\nPolicy Leadership: Lead the annual review and revision of IG documentation, including policies and privacy notices.\nProject Involvement: Participate in projects focused on data classification and records management capabilities, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.\nTraining Development: Create and deliver engaging training materials to empower teams across the organisation.\nHorizon Scanning: Conduct analysis for emerging IG issues, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.\nIncident Management: Advise on IG implications and regulatory reporting requirements for incidents and breaches.\nRecords Management: Support the implementation of records retention processes and manage unstructured information effectively.What We're Looking For:\nTo thrive in this role, you should bring:\n\nExtensive knowledge of data privacy and records management regulations across EMEA.\nProven experience in creating and implementing IG policies and standards.\nA solid understanding of records management and retention strategies.\nStrong relationship-building skills, with the ability to challenge existing practises that may pose compliance risks.\nExperience in conducting risk assessments in large, multinational organisations.\nExcellent drafting and revision skills for policies, training, and guidance materials.\nA knack for identifying process improvements and driving impactful change.Why Join Us?\n\nCompetitive Daily Rate: Enjoy a rewarding daily rate starting from £550.\nFlexible Working: Benefit from a hybrid working model that promotes work-life balance.\nDiverse Environment: Join a diverse team committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.\nImpactful Work: Play a pivotal role in shaping the governance strategy for a leading financial institution.If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge and make a difference in the field of information governance, we want to hear from you!\n\nHow to Apply:\nPlease submit your CV, showcasing your relevant experience.
