We are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Operations Manager to lead a high-performing, customer-focused team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented industrial services environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop team members through consistent accountability, training, and motivation.
- Drive customer satisfaction and business growth by supporting the team in closing service opportunities.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and P&L accountability.
- Address and resolve customer or employee concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure alignment with company values and maintain high ethical standards.
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, and retention strategies to build a high-performance team.
- Support proposal development and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on key accounts and regional market expansion.
- Monitor and report operational performance against goals and KPIs.
- Stay actively involved in critical customer projects and business development efforts.
- Partner with internal departments (sales, finance, safety, HR, etc.) to ensure aligned execution and results.
- Perform other leadership responsibilities as required in support of growth and operational excellence.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of operations or manufacturing management experience, preferably in an industrial service environment is mandatory.
- Proven success in leading teams and managing performance in a service-focused setting.
- Strong experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and operational planning.
SKILLS:
- Competitive mindset with a goal-oriented approach to performance.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Deep understanding of industrial maintenance services and OSHA/ANSI safety compliance.
- Financial acumen related to operational P&L, accounts receivable/payable, and EBITDA performance.
- Ability to recruit and develop high-performing team members.
TRAVEL: 5%+ including occasional overnights.
