Job DescriptionJob Description

We have a day shift opening for experienced Maintenance Mechanics with industrial plant experience. You will work in a variety of environments and on at least 2 plant sites. Focus is to install and repair mechanical components and equipment on a M-F scheduled shift. On-call every 5 weeks for nights and weekends. Must have a valid license with a good driving record.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following):

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical components of industrial equipment.
• Working as a team member or alone to complete projects.
• Observing safety procedures and meeting operating.
• Making decisions based on technical documents.
• Performing quality testing and inspections.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by safely performing maintenance tasks to troubleshoot, repair and maintain all facility equipment.
• Inspects equipment for defects.
• Assembles and aligns gears, bearings, and shafts, involving the application of press, and running fits.
• Makes either temporary or permanent changes

Skills/Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
• Awareness of , state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
