About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, stamping presses, robotic welding systems, and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical abilities, with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe production operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including stamping presses, robotics, and facility machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components to restore equipment to optimal condition.
  • Troubleshoot PLC systems and robotic controls, including Fanuc robotics, to resolve operational issues.
  • Interpret technical drawings, mechanical schematics, and electrical diagrams to perform accurate repairs.
  • Maintain shop tools, in-house machinery, and facility systems to support ongoing production needs.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an industrial equipment mechanic, maintenance technician, or related role in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems with troubleshooting and modification skills.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic systems, welding equipment, and automated machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
  • Solid mechanical background with strong problem-solving and repair skills.
  • Basic electrical knowledge, including wiring, controls, and system troubleshooting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with progressive stamping operations or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with robotic welding systems and automated integration.
  • Preventive maintenance program development or improvement experience.
  • Technical certifications in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
