Industrial Electrician | Manistee, MI

Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Manistee that are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using various testing devices.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical components to minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with and local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Calibrate, test, and adjust electrical instrumentation and control systems.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or completion of a recognized industrial electrician apprenticeship program.
• Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial control systems, PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), and motor controls.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash safety.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo drives, and industrial instrumentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and optimization experience
• Robotics electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) commissioning and advanced troubleshooting
• Experience with instrumentation and process control systems
