Job DescriptionJob Description

Construction Mechanics Inc (CMI) is looking for full time HVAC Service Techs in the Akron area. Must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems (residential and/or commercial)
• Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups
• Install and replace equipment, components, and parts (motors, compressors, coils, thermostats, etc.)
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Provide clear communication to customers regarding repairs, options, and costs
• Complete service tickets and documentation accurately
• Follow all safety procedures, industry standards, and company policies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting
• EPA 608 certification required (Type II or Universal )
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions
