HVAC Install Apprentice

ABT Mechanical is a local family-owned and operated HVAC company servicing all of Utah for over 30 years. We provide a wide array of HVAC services for homes and business structures alike. Including installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance services.

We are looking for an HVAC Install Apprentice to join our team in Orem and learn a valuable trade while you earn a living!

Position Summary: A Journeyman Installer will train you how to complete residential new construction and commercial installations of heating and cooling equipment. As an apprentice, you will shadow the journeyman until you have enough skills to be placed in your van and perform installations with your team. This position will also back up the lead installer as needed. Everything you need to know will be taught on the job. There will be plenty of room for career advancement at your own pace!

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Work Hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday (Overtime on occasion).

Job Requirements:

• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Possess a valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Must have at least 1 year experience in the Construction industry (HVAC )
• Solid communication/verbal skills, ability to work independently, and self-motivated
• Must be comfortable bending, crouching, and kneeling.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. (with a teammate)
• Must be comfortable with ladders & heights
