What You’ll Do:
- Manage budgets, understand financial forecasts, and work within budget constraints.
· Plan, develop, lead, coordinate, and execute human resources strategy to support the Office’s operational planning and strategic direction.
· Oversee successful processes for talent acquisition, training and development, organizational and performance management, employee engagement and retention, succession planning, and employee relations.
· Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including reviewing reports and performance metrics from the HRIS and ATS systems.
· Research, review, and modify administrative policies and procedures to maintain best practices and compliance.
· Collaborate with the Office’s management group to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, retention, and training.
· Design, modify, and implement Office-wide training programs.
· Supervise, coach, provide feedback to, and evaluate staff responsible for performing human resources and administrative services responsibilities.
What You’ll Need:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, management, or related field.
· Five years of experience in HR management.
· Five years of supervisory experience.
· PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
· Outstanding skills in research, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to the organization’s needs.
· Ability to make quick and independent decisions, solve problems, and work under pressure.
· Strong interest in public service and improving local municipalities.
· Willingness to work in-office daily.
