Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description
This is a 12 month FTC to join well-established, business-centric HR function within a mid-sized Financial Services consultancy; in a HR Business Partner role, within which you will take the lead in engaging with a number of key business units and championing effective HR practices and providing guidance and support to all manner of stakeholders, as well as managing a small team.
To be successful in the role, we're looking for individuals with experience within the Financial Services or Professional Services sector; with proven experience of working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. We're also looking for individuals to start within the next few weeks, and experience of TUPE is also essential for us.
The ins and outs of the role are as follows:
- Proactive HR support to managers on employee relations issues and activities. These will include grievance and disciplinary processes, attendance and absence issues and disputes.
- Providing support to managers and employees through coaching and policy advice as needed
- Designing, generating and analysing employee information as required by the company
- Ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees within the company
- Working with the Global HR Director on the design of HR programmes within the UK business
- Supporting managers in the implementation/execution of HR programmes and practices
- Ensuring Buck’s Performance management, pay and bonus processes are managed effectively and follow global guidelines
- Owning global HR initiatives for the UK business. These will include engagement surveys, coaching and mentoring programmes, leadership programmes and other initiatives rolled by the Global HR Director or CHRO
- Working with colleagues in other geographies to ensure consistent approaches to HR activities and initiatives
Experience required:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role ideally within the professional services sector
- Ability to formulate and propose solutions to HR related issues
- Solid knowledge of current employment law
- Staff supervisory experience
- Experienced in working in a UK wide business.
- Experience of a large scale TUPE is essential.
- A capable and credible relationship builder and committed team member
