Housing Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Housing Project Manager to oversee initiatives focused on housing stability and homelessness prevention. Key Responsibilities of the Housing Project Manager:
- Lead the implementation and management of the Housing Stability Pilot (HSP) program.
- Represent the organization in all housing-related meetings, commissions, and community boards.
- Serve as a liaison between departments and external partners to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
- Oversee the intake and application review process for housing-related services.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and gather data to understand service gaps for low-income individuals (at or below 250% of the federal poverty level).
- Improve system efficiency through special project management and barrier identification.
- Manage timelines, objectives, and roles across training, communication, and data tracking efforts.
- Analyze public benefit limitations and propose practical solutions based on both research and best practices from other regions.
- Maintain accurate records using the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
- Develop and deliver reports, public presentations, and project updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications of the Housing Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, preferably within human services or housing sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of housing policy and public benefit programs.
- Proficient in public speaking and creating impactful presentations.
- Highly organized with a problem-solving mindset.
