Health & Safety Officer to join our team in Hahn, We are seeking an EHS Officer to enhance and develop our company’s safety culture and ensure compliance with national legislation. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting continuous improvement in environmental and health & safety matters. *** The successful candidate will also receive training on how to perform these tasks effectively and will be enrolled in in-house training courses to provide you with the necessary information, knowledge, and skills required to fulfill the role of a Health & Safety Officer. Responsibilities: Participate in daily inspections, focusing on staff behavior, and submit reports. Investigate accidents/incidents related to environmental, health, and safety. Maintain up-to-date Health & Safety (H&S) Status Boards. Actively contribute to improving the health and safety culture within the organization and promote continuous improvement in all EHS matters. Regularly review national legislation impacting safety practices. Identify areas for improvement and work toward best-in-industry standards. Conduct internal audits related to company and regulatory standards. Collaborate with teams to enhance the company’s overall culture and service quality. Prioritize and manage EHS programs/campaigns to reduce risks. Ensure scaffolding inspections comply with national legislation. Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspection checks and assist with fire alarm checks and drills. Coordinate third-party team training and deliver in-house toolbox talk training where appropriate. Support daily/weekly tasks and larger group projects at the Hahn site and other PAML sites.
