Job Description
JD:
1. know HSE law and regulations applicable to battery energy storage system power station.
2· Know laws and regulation applicable to battery recycling and battery registration
Develop, maintain and co-ordinate health and safety policies and procedures across multiple sites in UK.
3· Ensure compliance to health and safety regulations by all employees of the business; providing the necessary training and ongoing meetings to assist the employee.
4· Ensure equipment in all sites are installed safely and maintained to the necessary standard.
5· Undertake risk assessments and site inspections. Identifying potential hazards and determining ways of reducing risks.
6· Keep up to date the safe operational practices ensuring adherence to any changes in legislation.
7· Ensure all First Aider and Fire Marshall responsibilities are carried out as per agreed policy and procedures.
9· Recording and investigating incidents, accidents and complaints, and cases of ill health.
10· Reporting any RIDDOR to HSE when there is any RIDDOR occurring on site;
11· Investigate any health and safety issues raised by management or employees.
12· Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are continually reviewed and updated
13· Produce reports for health and safety statistics, and trends writing regular articles in order to communicate to all employees on health and safety issues and changes to regulations.
14· Pass and maintain the requirements of the Relevant Regulator’s “fit and proper test” as required.
15· Attend training courses as required to enable you to develop your skills and knowledge through continuous professional development.
16· Management responsibilities for the Control of Contractors within any site.
Job requirements:
1.Experience of energy storage power station is needed
2.· Knowledge of high voltage environment working is needed
3.· Hold a CSCS certification and ECS card
4.· Strong analytical problem solving and organizational skills
5· Fire management and risk assessment experience essential
6· Committed to providing excellent customer care with the ability to communicate in verbal and written forms at all levels
7· Excellent organizational skills
8· Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
9· Ability to give constructive feedback to all levels of staff
10· Clean driver license
