Head of HR Operations
London/ Hybrid working.
£150-160,000 + competitive Bonus
Network HR are delighted to be working exclusively with an excellent financial services business to support with the hire of an experienced Head of HR Operations to join their high-performing team based in London. The Head of HR Operations will be responsible for the daily oversight of the function and team members, who provide administrative support to the company’s offices located in the UK and internationally. Role responsibilities include but are not limited to; HRIS (Workday) process management, Talent, Payroll and MI and reporting. This role will also involve leading on key critical projects whilst working directly with the CHRO and other senior stakeholder within the business and their ad hoc requests.
· Oversee the daily operations of the HR Operations Team and department.
· Supervise, write reviews, performance plans, lead, coach and develop the HR Operations Team.
· Overall responsibility for ensuring that the team delivers a consistently high level of customer service, monitoring and addressing SLAs as needed.
· Collaborate with the Workday subject matter expert to help build HR Service, Knowledge Articles and HR Case processing.
· Responsible for the ongoing process improvement and expansion of the HR services provided.
· Regularly attends and participates in HR meetings and serve as a key contact for HR management and OA’s.
· Maintain and expand relationships with all functional teams throughout the firm, ensuring consistency in the use of transaction management software encouraging colleagues to maximize the use of the platform, including covering any training.
· Clarify processes and drive efficiencies that enable the team to effectively manage transactional volumes.
· Drive process standardisation and improvement within HR Operations.
· Proactively manage and supervise the team to ensure proper processes are followed with respect to employee onboarding, offboarding, and job changes.
· Oversee the timely and accurate completion of critical HR processes such as required vaccination verification, background checks, new hire data entry, compensation changes, processing leaves of absences, transfers, and terminations.
· Ensure prompt responses to employee inquiries coming through the HR International mailbox.
· Manage the payroll processes and act as key point of contact for the payroll team, ensuring the HR Operations team timely performs all tasks required to meet payroll deadlines.
· Accountable for data integrity in HR systems and ensure appropriate audit controls are in place and consistently followed.
· Support, develop, and train HR Operations team members on HR systems and processes.
· Provide administrative assistance and systems support for performance review cycles.
· Ensure compliance and integrity of all HR systems data through various audit processes in cooperation with HRIS and Legal & Compliance.
· Lead on critical HR and business projects and perform duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have a credible background in HR operations, particularly in a transformation or change environment. You will be technically minded but able to execute the fundamentals of a high performing, efficient Operations team. What else will you need:
- A financial services background will be mandatory for this appointment.

- Knowledge of the HRIS Workday or significant experience of working with a HRIS.
