GPU Software Development Engineer

Job DescriptionIntel Graphics Performance Analyzers (GPA) is a high-profile tool suite for optimizing graphics workloads used in the gaming industry, focusing on Intel's latest graphics silicon. The GPA team is looking for a Senior Graphics Software Engineer specifically for development of GPA Trace Analyzer. This position requires a strong understanding of graphics pipeline, GPU architecture, driver and runtime behavior, as well as expertise and discipline in data collection and processing.The primary responsibility will be design of new tracing analysis types and extension of existing profiling capabilities of GPA Trace Analyzer.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Software Engineering or related discipline5+ years of C++ experience with exposure to writing Cross-Platform Code3+ years of experience with the following technical skills: solid understanding of 3D graphics pipeline, knowledge of Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) or Linux Function Tracer (ftrace)Preferred Qualifications:Experience developing apps with at least one Graphics API preferably Vulkan or DirectX 12Experience developing and profiling 3D games, Media or AI applicationsAbility to lead technical projectsExperience shipping production software in an Agile/Scrum TeamMulti-geo and cross-cultural communication experienceWhat we offer:At Intel, employees share in successes, enjoy comprehensive rewards and are inspired by an innovative & inclusive workplace. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
