Job Description
General Operative General Operative, Anaerobic Digestion – Central Oxfordshire - £32,500 - + Overtime The Job: The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the efficient and safe operation of a well-established anaerobic digestion (AD) facility. This hands-on position involves a range of duties, including site checks, maintenance and yard management, supporting smooth day to day operations in a fast paced environment. The Company: A reputable and progressive operator within the renewable energy sector, managing anaerobic digestion facilities that convert organic material into sustainable energy.
The company places strong emphasis on safety, efficiency and teamwork, providing a supportive environment where staff are encouraged to develop their skills and contribute to ongoing improvements. The Candidate: - Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability - Experience within agricultural, yard, anaerobic digestion, or waste-to-energy operations (advantageous but not essential) - Understanding of SCADA systems and process monitoring (beneficial) - Telehandler licence desirable - Sound awareness of health and safety practices in an operational environment - Full UK driving licence and flexibility to participate in on-call duties The Package: - £32,500 per annum plus overtime (paid at 1.5x, earning over £20/hour) - 45-hour working week (Monday to Friday) - Varied, hands on role with scope for career progression - Supportive working environment within the renewable energy sector Please email your CV to Charlotte Levent, Senior Delivery Recruitment Consultant, CLevent@agriRS.co.uk .
