We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Compliance Supervisor to join our corporate team in Upland, CA. This key leadership role oversees environmental compliance operations for multiple U.S. retail locations, managing a talented team of Environmental Compliance Specialists and Coordinators. What You’ll Do

• Oversee and maintain compliance with underground storage tank (UST) regulations and other environmental requirements across all U.S. locations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Environmental Compliance Specialists and Coordinators.
• Manage environmental reporting, equipment upgrades, and compliance-related workflows.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and collaborate with agencies to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Oversee air permit renewals, tank registrations, and facility operating permits.
• Ensure timely completion and documentation of annual, triannual, and monthly inspections and tests.
• Manage tank removal projects, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance in all submissions.
• Review compliance testing and monthly visual reports, addressing deficiencies promptly.
• Approve environmental contractor invoices and manage capital projects within approval limits.
• Collaborate with internal departments — including maintenance, IT, fuels, and operations — to resolve compliance issues efficiently.
• Maintain UST A-B operator certifications for all relevant states.
• Support alarm resolution, emergency response coordination, and corrective action initiatives.
• Lead special projects and continuously identify opportunities to enhance environmental compliance programs.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years of experience in environmental compliance, UST systems, or facility maintenance.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Deep understanding of environmental and fuel storage regulations (UST, vapor recovery, air permitting).
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance tracking systems (Service Channel, CNG, etc.).
• Ability to influence and lead projects without direct authority.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving regulations.
