My client, an innovative, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of specialist consultants, based near to the lively, diverse city of Bristol
Essential Criteria:
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Geography, or similar
Knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Mitigation Reports, and Sustainable Drainage Strategies (SuDS)
Working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including Flood Modeller Pro, etc.
A keen interest in flood risk and drainage strategies
A data-driven, analytical approach to work
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to possess the following skills:
Some relevant experience in flood risk and drainage
Strong analytical skills and technical-mindedness
Excellent standard of written English, particularly when applied to report writing
Experience of establishing and building stakeholder relations

Assisting with the preparation and submission of Flood Risk Assessments
Undertaking flood risk analysis at a variety of sites
Carrying out hydraulic modelling, using the appropriate software packages (e.g., Flood Modeller Pro, MicroDrainage, etc.)
Contributing to drainage designs across a variety of projects
Producing technical reports for a range of public and private clients
Collaborating with the wider engineering design team
