Fire & Security Engineer – Reading / Oxford\n \n We are recruiting on behalf of a leading client for a Fire & Security Engineer to deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive work across the Reading to Oxford patch.\n \n This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience across a range of fire and security systems, looking for a stable, well-paid role with additional overtime opportunities.\n \n Start Date\n \nApproximately 3–4 weeks from application, following security clearanceKey Responsibilities\n \nCarry out PPM and reactive maintenance on fire and security systems\nDiagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of fire alarms, extinguishers, access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and other security systems\nEnsure all work complies with relevant regulations and site standards\nRecord and report all maintenance and service activityRequirements\n \nProven experience as a fire & security engineer\nCompetent with a range of fire and security systems\nOwn tools and valid driving licence\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyWhat’s on Offer\n \n6-month rolling contract\n£270 per day (Outside IR35)\nWeekly pay – every Friday\nMileage claimable\nOvertime available at 1.5x day rate\nWork in a supportive, professional environment with ongoing opportunitiesV7 Recruitment are an equal opportunities employer and are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy\n\nV7 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the grounds of , , , reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, or maternity, , or belief, , or .
