Fire and Security Engineer\nPeterborough & Surrounding Areas\n£35,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) + overtime + call-out + company vehicle + excellent benefits\n\nAbout the Role:\nAn established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking for a long-term role offering job security, progression, and varied work across both commercial and residential sites.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and other security systems.\n\n * \n\n Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring compliance with relevant standards (BS5839, BS5266, NSI, etc.)\n\n * \n\n Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.\n\n * \n\n Participating in the on-call rota and attending emergency call-outs when required.\n\n * \n\n Completing accurate reports and documentation for all works carried out.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working as a Fire and Security Engineer.\n\n * \n\n Competent with a variety of systems (e.g. Advanced, Kentec, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, etc.).\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations.\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence.\n\n * \n\n Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n Relevant industry qualifications (FIA Units, ECS, CSCS, IPAF, etc.)\n\n * \n\n Experience working on both domestic and commercial systems.\n\nPackage Includes:\n\n * \n\n Competitive basic salary (DOE)\n\n * \n\n Company vehicle with fuel card\n\n * \n\n Overtime and on-call payments\n\n * \n\n Pension scheme\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and development opportunities\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that values its employees and provides ongoing support and training to ensure you continue to develop professionally
