Final QC Inspector

Rocky Mountain Instrument, Co is searching for someone who wants to work with optics. This person tests and inspects optics and coatings at the final stage of production and compiles data and documentation to meet internal and customer requirements by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

·         Reviews customer requirements to determine inspection, testing, and documentation requirements.

·         Visually inspects parts for surface quality.

·         Sets up and performs nondestructive tests on parts to measure performance or material characteristics

·         Generates applicable documentation per customer requirements.

·         Assembles documentation for products according to customer requirements.

·         Packages products for shipment. Creates and attaches appropriate labels. Verifies correct documentation packet is placed with the product.

·         Inputs job completion data in daily log.

English literacy (read/write), visual acuity (with correction, if needed), and attention to detail is required. A background in optics manufacturing is .
